Hina Hameed_Midterm Model
I started by manipulating a subdivided cube, using extrude and scale to shape the individual floors of the tower. I then adjusted the smoothness of the polygons to create more organic shaped openings, lending the model a playful quality. When I was satisfied with the component, I used "Duplicate Special" to move, rotate, and scale each "floor" to form the tower. I did another version using the same technique, except with a subdivided cylinder as the starting point. Here are the final results.
