Ana C Hercules Zuniga : Midterm : Bed and Sheets

The Bed was created using the same method as the couches, having a set of lines to define a rough measurement of the size of the bed.

The Bed frame was created using a rectangular polygon. Edge loops were added create faces to extrude the legs and the bed board. The bed board was scaled on the top to have a slant shape towards the top. the top faces of the board were deformed using face wedge. The faces of the side of the bed board were extruded to create the detail of separate wood boards to assemble a whole.

The faces of the wedge were extracted and separated from the polygonal shape to add a bend deform to bed board. The front face of the board was poked to delete the upper most part of the front face to keep a flow of the shape. And the top face of the bed support was extruded down create a place holder for the mattress.

The mattress was created with a rectangular polygon and altered with move and scale selecting the CV points.

The Sheets for the mattress were created using the nCloth. Basically you create a plane and divided into as many faces as possible. You add the cloth modifier to it. Then you have to select the objects the sheet will bounce off from. I created a rectangular polygon to leave the sheet out from the space were the cushions will be located. Once the sheet was in placed and the cloth fell from rectangular shape. to make it seem as a folded sheet.
