Ana C Hercules Zuniga : Midterm : Living Area

Using lines created to determine the space relationship of the furniture, the couches were created by having 3 polygons in the shape of rectangles to create a frame of cushions for the main sitting cushion. The polygons were beveled on all edges to create a smooth fabric feel.

The main cushion was also beveled and the top face was subdivided into several faces to extrude them up and scale the top-face down. Later, the mesh was smoothed to create the effect of tensile fabric.

A lattice was applied to the main cushion to give it a bumped aspect to it.

Polygonal rectangles were used to create the base and legs of the couch. The couch was duplicated and the main cushion was redone using the same method of the larger couch.

The Couches were imported into the file with the imported walls. A polygonal cylinder was used to create a floor lamp. Using face extrusions the lamp was built up and there was also a light bulb created using the same cylinder. The entire shape was smoothed out. A torus was used to create the lamp shade.
