Luciano Carfagna: Final Renderings

The above image shows the full scale of the project. The building is framed nicely against a sunset giving a magical quality to the scene.
Here we see a low angle shot looking up at the tower. Using alpha channels I was able to create an accurate composite shot of the two media sources.
This is an interior shot of the open air pool/patio. I wanted the water to have a flat glass-like quality so the reflection of the buildings would be sharper.
This is an interior shot within the structure looking up at the solid glass sculpture. I went with a very orange and red sky to create a higher contrast in the shadows and some coloration in the sculpture.

The following images are extras I had leftover from exploring the project.:

This night scene came out very sharp and dramatic. I left it out of the final group because the building was less visible than the other cloudy shot.

This image I wanted to include because it added to the fantastical nature of the building design. The ethereal feel of the buildings aesthetic fits right into this scene
This is another exterior shot that gives a different look at the building. There is no compositing here as all elements were created in Maya. Notice the stairs coming off the tower to the platform.
This dramatic shot is one of my favorites but might be too scary for a presentation
