Elsa Padilla, Materials


This image was done by applying a checker pattern to the plane and a material x-chrome. The sky image was added tot he reflection to create that effect. Mental ray ray trace shadow are activated as well
.

This rendering was done by applying the chrome material x to the donut and a bump image to create the texture. The glass material was done by using a thick glass and adding a color to the translucency settings.

The donut in this rendering has a lot of texture. This effect was created by applying the leather material to the color settings and to the bump as well. To control the size you can link the material through your hypershade.

This tutorial was very helpful for me when applying materials. Hope it helps someone else.
