Andrew F. Scott: Interior Lighting


Exploring Some Simple Interior Lighting Setups. This image uses A Physical Sky shader as the main source of light. Material_X is the primary material used for the surfaces in the scene. The floor has a Blinn shader with a wood texture attached. Wood textures can be found here. There is also an area light that is emitting photons out of the field of view. I was thinking of using a sky portal texture but decided against it. Finally, render passes were combined in photoshop to tweak the final backplate and human entourage elements were added for scale.
