Wade Michael: Midterm model one

for all of the images when i rendered them i created a plane, turn on the physical sun and sky, ambient occlusion, and applied a material to the object, material x, preset matte finish color "peach"

i took the object from below and preformed a MEL script array 2 in the X axis 2 in the Y axis and 2 in the Z axis. these images show the interesting spaces that are created,.

in these three images i took the same object and preformed a deformation twist to create interesting spaces within and around the object. i also turned on ambient occlusion to provide better shadows.
here is the object duplicated and i combined them. i preformed an edit mesh to connect the two objects together. this view also shows the openings on the top

i duplicated the object and scaled it down to see how the proportions look i think im going to keep the the same size and try to combine them and preform an edit mesh and bridge the two elements to create different spaces.

this is the restarted version of the project the elements are similar the only differences is the ceiling instead of having the whole top extruded to create openings i selected onely two areas in the top to create a source of light for the interior

this is a box poly divided 6x6x6 then i took the middle faces and beveled the faces and deleted them to create openings, then i extruded the faces of the beveled elements and extruded those faces to give the openings some depth. in the ceiling i selected the faces in the middle and extruded them to create a louver system to see how the light would enter into the space. then i tried to duplicate- combine and manipulate the two similar objects but something went wrong so i started over using the same ideas as above.
