Kristi Buchler: Midterm Model 2

This form started as a very thin plane, which I used the array MEL script to array in x, y, and z directions. This created a large box of stacked planes, split into four quadrants. Using the lattice deformation, I lowered, raised, and scaled sections of the form. Then I curved the form using the bend deformation. The secondary massing is a cylinder, from which I removed several faces to create a void.

The main form has a glazed ceramic material with an orange cast on the ambient occlusion settings. The secondary form has a matte plastic material. I took the last render below into Photoshop for a quick park scene.
