Wade Michael: Materials Test

over the weekend we had to practice customizing materials to start out, i tried to make a concrete material and the steps i took to get this color and texture i used a Matte finish 75%, lowered the weight and roughness as well as the reflectivivity and glossiness. also i turned on ambient occlusion
then i practiced making a metal material, to start out i used the Satined Metal present 90%, weight 0, roughness 0 lowered the reflectivity and glossiness. this one turned out nice a gun metal color with some nice dullness to it, perhaps a polished steel..
this is very similar to the one above same tech. used i changed the color alittle and changed some little things one it. i think this one is better than above. it has a lighter feel with better use of shadows and reflectivity. still dull but not as harsh.
finally, i tried to create a frosted glass material, it didnt turn out as good, i lowered the roughness and changed the color. it turned out fuzzy and rough. not what i was looking for this one along with the rest need some more tweaks done to them.
