Ryan Claus_Studio 4 high-rise imported from Revit to Maya

I spent about the last four hours working on an old project from my studio 4 class. The project was a Boutique hotel in New York City.

Below is a finished rendering I created in Revit...


First, I stripped and gutted my Revit model and exported it as a "FBX" file format. When I imported it into Maya it came in with each individual piece already assigned a "phong" material. Opening up the Hypershade dialogue box allowed me to delete these "phong" materials and create the "mental image architectural" materials (mia_material_x). I've only started assigning layers and materials to the individual pieces but here are some shots of my work in progress...

As you can see, I've only gotten to the tessellated skin, one of the curtain walls, and the floorplates. The process is quite tedious...
